Area playoff games rescheduled

Thursday’s area postseason action was washed out by rain.
The Class 3A Sycamore Baseball Sectional semifinal between Burlington Central and Prairie Ridge was postponed. The game has been rescheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, with the sectional championship game to follow at 1 p.m.
Three local softball games were also pushed back.
The Bartlett vs. West Chicago semifinal in the Class 4A Lake Park Sectional is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
The Jacobs vs. Rockton Hononegah semifinal in the Class 4A Cary-Grove Sectional is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
The Burlington Central vs. Marengo semifinal in the Class 3A Belvidere North Sectional has been postponed to 11 a.m. Saturday. That moves the title game to 4:30 p.m. Monday at Belvidere North.
