ALI ANDREWS, Huntley

6-2, Fr., F

Unanimous All-Fox Valley Conference Valley Division team member and fourth-team IBCA All-State as a freshman who tied her sister, Sam, for the area’s most points (535) and highest scoring average (15.7). Was third in free throw percentage (76.6). Finished third in the area in total rebounds (249) and averaged 7.3 rebounds, 2.4 steals, and 2.1 assists per game.

SAM ANDREWS, Huntley

6-foot, Jr., F

Unanimous All-Fox Valley Conference Valley Division team member and repeat All-Area player who made honorable mention AP All-State and IBCA third-team All-State. Tied her sister, Ali, for most points (535) and highest scoring average in the area. Was fourth in three-pointers made (52) and led the area in free-throw percentage (.818) while averaging 2.4 assists to help the Red Raiders finish fourth in Class 4A. Is 48 points shy of 1,000 for her career.

JESSICA CERDA, Streamwood

5-9, Sr., G-F

All-Upstate Eight River player and repeat All-Area selection who made honorable mention AP All-State and second-team IBCA All-State for sectional finalist Sabres. Tied for the area lead in three-pointers (60), led in assists (128) and finished third in scoring (464 points) and scoring average (15.7 ppg). Blocked 28 shots and made 95 steals.

ALISON COLBY, Burlington Central

6-0, Soph., F-C

Inside threat for a team that won a sectional title for the first time since 1984. An All-Big Northern Conference selection who averaged 7.4 points per game and finished fourth in the area in rebounding with 235.

JEN DUMOULIN, Hampshire

5-9, Sr., G-F

All-Big Northern East player who led the Whip-Purs in scoring with 352 points and averaged 12.6 points per game. Hit 60 percent from the foul line (78-of-129) while averaging 4.9 rebounds (138 total) and a team-high 2.9 assists per contest.

MCKAILA HAYS, Westminster Christian

5-7, Jr., G

All-Northeast Athletic Conference first-team member and IBCA All-State honorable mention for Class 1A. Hit 32 three-pointers and averaged 10.3 points per game. Also averaged 3.1 rebounds and 3.1 steals while making 93 assists, good for fifth in the area. Sank 32 three-pointers and was second in the area in free-throw shooting percentage (.772, 44-of-57) for players with at least 50 attempts.

ALYSSA HERNANDEZ, Bartlett

6-2, Sr., F

All-Upstate Eight Conference Valley Division player who transferred in from Lake Park this season and led her team in rebounds (167) while averaging a team-high 9.8 points. Finished third in the area with 59 blocked shots.

AMANDA HILTON, St. Charles East

5-5, Jr., G

All-Upstate Eight Conference River Division player. She finished fourth in the area in scoring with 388 points and in scoring average at 14.4 points per game. Sank 76 percent at the foul line and made 40 three-pointers while averaging 2.4 steals per game.

SHELBY HOLT, Burlington Central

5-9, Fr., G-F

All-Big Northern Conference selection who tied for the area three-point lead with 60. Made six in one half in the team’s conference-clinching victory. Shot 72 percent from the foul line and averaged 10.5 points per game as the leading scorer for a supersectional team that won the Big Northern East title.

HANNAH MCGLONE, Streamwood

6-foot, Jr., C

The area’s leader in rebounds (332), steals (121), and blocked shots (154). An All-Upstate Eight River player and repeat All-Area player who also averaged 10.3 points and was fourth in the area in assists with 106. Needs 216 points and 122 rebounds next year to get to 1,000 for her career in both categories.

DEJA MOORE, Streamwood

5-7, Sr., G

All-Upstate Eight River pick who was sixth in the area in points scored with 372 and averaged 12.0 points per game. Helped lead Sabres to their first regional title in 25 years. Also averaged 6.9 rebounds (207 total) and 2.7 assists per game and finished third in the area in assists with 108 (3.6 per game).

HALEY REAM, Huntley

6-foot, Sr., G-F

All-Fox Valley Conference Valley Division player who did the tough jobs and provided leadership for state’s fourth-place (Class 4A) team. Finished second in the area in assists (124), averaging 3.75 per game. Also averaged 5.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per contest. Usually drew the difficult defensive assignment.

ALEX SILVERMAN, St. Charles North

5-8, Sr., G

All-Upstate Eight Conference River player who led her team in scoring with 308 points while averaging a team-high 10.8 per game. Finished third in the area with 54 three-pointers made and hit 32.5 percent beyond the arc.

MADDIE VERSLUYS, Westminster Christian

5-10, Fr., F

All-Northeast Athletic Conference first-team player who had more offensive rebounds (127) than any player in the area. Averaged 7.7 rebounds and a team-high 12.6 points per game while hitting 72.5 percent from the foul line (58-of-80) for a team that set a school record for wins with 26 (26-5) and advanced to the supersectional for the first time in school history.

QUIXMIA WASHINGTON, Larkin

5-4, Soph., G

All-Upstate Eight Conference River Division player who did everything for the Royals from take it up the court to rebound. Averaged 13.4 points per game and scored 362 points. Had 108 rebounds (4.0 per game) and averaged 3.8 steals and 2.4 assists per game to lead her team in all categories.
