Roundup: Jacobs routs Crystal Lake South

Alex Glover scored 19 points to lead Jacobs to a 66-36 victory over Crystal Lake South on Tuesday night in Fox Valley Valley boys basketball action.
The Golden Eagles (6-21, 4-8) also got 16 points from Bobby Mladenovic. The teams will meet again next week in the semifinals of the Cary-Grove Class 4A Regional.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
ECC 75, Highland 68:
Cassie Dumoulin scored 24 points and DiJon Smith added 19 to lead the Spartans in nonconference action.
Holy Cross 72, Judson 65:
Tied at 53 with 7:16 left in the game, Holy Cross College put together a 7-0 run over two and half minutes as they raced to the CCAC tournament win over Judson. Judson ends its season at 14-17.
Judson was led by Emily Ragsdale’s 11 points, 11 rebounds, seven blocked shots and four steals. Ricquel Butler added 12 points and Kim Peek had 10 points.
MEN’S BASKETBALL
Purdue-Calumet 76, Judson 71:
Judson had an eight-point lead with 2:31 to go in the game when Purdue University-Calumet went on a 15-2 run to steal the win in the CCAC Tournament. Judson was led by Landon Skinner’s 20 points, Josh Edward’s 16 points, Brian Pedersen’s 14 points and Adam Hodge’s 10 points. Judson ends the year at 10-21.
