Representatives from various agencies involved in the construction project, including the counties of Kane and Cook, as well as the city of Elgin, attended the official ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the facility. Like VNA’s facility on the west side of Elgin (located at 620 Wing Street), this site is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center to provide services to the medically underserved in the greater Elgin area.
