Thank you to Pingree police officer for aid
On June 29, I was en route from Dixon to Schaumburg, traveling for work to exhibit at the Abilities Expo that weekend.
While passing through Pingree Grove, I was stopped by Officer Kit O’Reilly. I would like to express my gratitude. Officer O’Reilly noted my driving, pulled me over and observed that I was “in distress.” He concurred that I should turn around and go home.
Within four hours, I was in the ER at home, having an obstruction removed from my esophagus. If Officer O’Reilly had not been doing his job, I most likely would have ended up in an unfamiliar town, unfamiliar hospital with no family around.
Pingree Grove and Mrs. O’Reilly, be proud! Thank you, officer, for helping me make a GOOD decision and go home!

Look at facts, not fear-mongering,
The planet could become unstable and shift on its axis, moving regions into different hemispheres and altering the climates of regions. Plants and animals could become extinct as they may not have time to evolve to the new environment and climate they face.
Days will become longer as the Earth revolves more slowly. It affects the amount of moisture in the soil.
Sounds like a chapter index of the fear-mongers who produce fictional facts about global warming.
The above-mentioned conditions are the results of the moon slowly moving away from Earth. The farther away it moves, the worsening of these conditions.
But fear-mongering has always resulted in humans making the wrong decisions. Rarely has fear-mongering caused us to make the right decisions. Look at past and present world leaders. Enough said.

Romney is stashing his money overseas
Why aren’t the Republicans who badgered President Obama to release his birth certificate clamoring for Romney to release his tax returns in order to explain his funds now invested in Swiss bank accounts, the Cayman Islands and Bermuda? How much does Romney have stashed overseas to avoid taxes?
Everyone can see Romney is hiding his billions to avoid paying taxes. At the same time, he’s using his support of the Paul Ryan GOP budget to grant the billionaires another big tax cut and wants to repeal Obamacare.
Simultaneously, Romney is willing to cut investment in education, eliminate Obamacare, refuse to build a smart grid to transport energy more efficiently, fail to reform immigration to encourage the brightest to stay and innovate in the United States, and says no to a jobs bill to put construction workers, teachers and firefighters back to work.
Why does he parrot the right-wing tea party obstructionism? Is he that greedy, arrogant and full of hatred for President Obama?
