Prescription program pulled: This is regarding Governor Quinn. He needs to be voted out. He took away the circuit breaker for seniors. We lost our Illinois Cares Rx program, which was helping me and everybody else. Quinn has the unmitigated gall to give driver licenses to 250,000 illegal immigrants. Is the vote that important to you, Quinn? I have a senior coalition going, and you will not get in again. This is terrible. I’m not in good health, but as soon as I’m better, I’m getting out of Illinois. They say if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Well, I don’t like the heat. I’m ashamed to say I’m a resident of Illinois. We are financially the worst state in the nation.
Gambling is not the answer: Illinois can bring all the gambling they want to their towns. It’s a corrupt state. No matter what they do, it will always be corrupt. Look at all of these guys going to jail. This is a corrupt, overtaxed state. No wonder we’re a laughing stock. Gambling isn’t going to help. It will only make it worse.
Riled up about rumors: I am responding to two points in other Speak Outs. One is that illegal immigrants get free food stamps, public aid, and Medicare. That doesn’t happen. It’s not true. They have to show a Social Security number to get all of that. They don’t have one if they’re illegal. Second of all, nobody is coming to take away your guns. That’s just a bunch of National Rifle Association hooey to get people riled up enough to buy more guns, and it looks like it is working. Unless you have an assault rifle, you have nothing to worry about.
