Man charged with rape at casino

ELGIN — A Chicago man has been charged with raping a teen-age girl inside a washroom at the Grand Victoria Casino.
Christopher A. Turner, 32, was charged with a Class X felony count of aggravated criminal sexual assault, and felony counts of criminal sexual assault, aggravated criminal sexual abuse and unlawful restraint following his arrest Saturday.
According to Elgin police, Turner is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl in a bathroom stall at the casino at about 2 p.m. Saturday.
The girl, who is homeless, told police she had agreed to let Turner engage in a limited sex act with her for $20 but that once they got into the stall, he pushed her to the floor and forced her to engage in intercourse.
A judge set his bail at $400,000, and he was given a July 6 court date.
