Victim of motorcycle fatality identified

Motorcycle fatality ID’d: Police have identified the St. Charles man who was killed in a Geneva motorcycle crash Monday night. John Broderick III, 24, of the 100 block of Walnut Drive, died after a collision with a sport utility vehicle at 6:42 p.m. near Randall Road and Gleneagle Drive, Geneva police said. Broderick was driving his 1999 Honda motorcycle north on Randall when he struck the rear of a 2005 Chevy Equinox driven by a 63-year-old Bartlett woman, police said. The Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team and Geneva police continue to investigate.
