C’ville man charged with sex abuse

Sexual contact with a minor: Hilario Camarena-Doroteo, 44, of the 0-100 block of Birch Street, Carpentersville, was charged with a Class 2 felony count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and a misdemeanor count of battery following his arrest Wednesday, authorities said. He is accused of having sexual contact with a girl under the age of 13. Bail was set at $300,000, and he was given a May 23 court date.
Elgin
Pot dealing charged: Jesus Bahena, 29, of the 600 block of Slade Avenue, Elgin, was charged with felony possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, misdemeanor possession of cannabis, and two counts of resisting or obstructing a police officer following his arrest Thursday. A team of plain-clothes officers riding in an unmarked police car said they were watching a section of Slade Avenue known for drug sales when they saw Bahena approach a car that had been circling the area. Police said his pockets contained a large amount of marijuana and a supply of small plastic bags. Bail was set Friday at $15,000, and he was given a May 17 court date.
Ankle bracelet escape: James R. Williams, 33, of the 300 block of Raymond Street, Elgin, was charged with a felony count of escape/violation of home monitoring and a misdemeanor count of street gang contact by a parolee following his arrest Thursday in Elgin. Bail was set at $30,000, and he was given a May 17 court date.
License, antenna cut: A 21-year-old woman told police someone made a cut in one of her car’s license plates and two cuts in the car’s radio antenna while it was parked in the 400 block of Sunset Drive between Saturday and Tuesday. She told police that many other women dislike her but has no idea who would have attacked the car.
Fire damages home: Elgin firefighters were called to 420 Ball Street at 1:17 p.m. Friday for a fire which heavily damaged a second-floor bedroom, according to officials. The fire was under control by 2:30 p.m. and left the home with an estimated $65,000 in damage. One firefighter received a cut to his hand and was treated at the scene. The cause of the blaze is under investigation, officials said.
Huntley
Garage burglarized: A man who lives in the 10400 block of Sunbury told police on May 4 that someone entered his garage and stole three cases of beer, police reported Thursday.
Two arrests: Two out-of-towners were arrested following an incident in Huntley on May 5, police reported Thursday. Jason M. Scarpino, 28, of Sycamore, was charged with aggravated assault, and David A. Mcahren, 43, of Barrington was charged with criminal damage to property.
Two charges: Brian Dakota Eisenhauer, 19, of the 10700 block of Midwest Avenue, was charged with criminal damage to property and domestic battery following an incident on Sunday, police reported.
