Drug dealing by woman near Elgin church alleged

Drug charges: Jessica N. Korth, 22, of the 900 block of Carriage Way, Elgin, was charged with Class 2 and Class 3 felony counts of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance. She is accused of delivering methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV) — also known as “bath salts” — near a church in the 600 block of Congdon Avenue early Wednesday. Bail was set at $5,000, and she was assigned a Jan. 23 court date.
