Truck facility burglarized

Truck stolen: A thief broke open the key lockbox at Budget Truck Rental, at 1455 Main Lane, took out a key and drove off with a 2008 GMAC box truck, the managers told police. The burglary and theft took place between 10 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday but wasn’t reported until later this week.

Ripped off while working out: A man who was exercising Friday at the Taylor Family Branch YMCA, at 50 N. McLean Blvd., told police that someone broke into his locker and stole his wallet, according to a report released this week. Police said the burglar pried open a corner of the locker door, pulled out the man’s pants, removed the wallet and then stuffed pants into an empty locker nearby. The man said the wallet contained $80 and credit cards

Vacant house damaged: According to a report released this week, someone broke into a vacant house in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue the night of Nov. 9-10 and wrecked an air conditioner, knocked holes in walls and poured paint on a toilet.
