Elgin resident faces aggravated DUI and other charges

Aggravated DUI: Holly Deihs, 34, of the 500 block of South State Street, Elgin, was charged with felony counts of aggravated driving under the influence and driving on a suspended or revoked license, and misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license. Bail was set at $300,000, and she was given a Sept. 28 court date.
Bike grabbed: A woman told police that she arrived at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at her home in the 1200 bock of Cobblers Crossing. Realizing a half-hour later that she had forgotten to shut the garage door, she went back into the garage and discovered someone had stolen her bicycle, along with its U-shaped bike lock.
