DuPage County is again giving residents a chance to toss in their two cents on the spending of their money.
A survey on the county website enables visitors to put on record their opinions about funding programs and services, as officials prepare to draw up their fiscal 2013 budget. The spending blueprint is adopted at the end of November each year and takes effect Dec. 1.
Finance Committee Chairman Paul Fichtner urged residents to take a few minutes to fill out the form.
“It is extremely important for residents to let us know what programs and services should be made a financial priority, such as roads, stormwater detention and social services,” Fichtner said in a press release.
The county also plans to host several budget hearings during the fall to give detailed information about the budget to those interested in learning more.
The web survey will be available through July at www.surveymonkey.com/s/DupageFY13BudgetSurvey.
