Kane property taxes are due Monday

The first installment of Kane County 2011 property taxes is due Monday, according to county Treasurer David Rickert.
Homeowners who need a copy of the bill to remit payment can print the bill from the Internet by visiting the website www.KaneCountyTreasurer.org or contacting the treasurer’s office at 630-232-3565.
Taxpayers can make payment by:
Mailing the payment to the treasurer’s office. Mail postmarked by June 4 is considered on time.
Dropping off the payment in the property tax drop box, which is available 24 hours a day. The drop box is located behind Building A at the Government Center, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Geneva.
Making payment at a participating Kane County bank.
Paying over the Internet by credit card or E-check. There is a convenience fee for this service.
