In a series of public hearings, residents suggested music venues, mountain biking trails, cross country tracks and more for the future of Settler’s Hill. Now it is time for officials to react.
The Fabyan property utilization subcommittee will meet June 12 following the regular county board meeting, where they will be discussing the next round of planning for the site.
The plan has been presented to the Geneva and Batavia city councils, a nearby home owners association, and a county committee of the whole meeting. It is feedback from these meetings that the subcommittee will factor into revisions.
If the subcommittee approves a new plan, the development committee and committee of the whole could see it again as soon as next month.
