West Dundee warns of possible power outages today

WEST DUNDEE — Village residents could be experiencing some power outages today.

Officials announced this morning that Com Ed had just informed them that there could be power outages from noon to 2 p.m. at the West Dundee Public Works Facility and the Fairhills subdivision, officials said. It was not immediately known whether the surrounding area also will be affected.

Earlier in the day power outages were possible between 9 and 11 a.m. in the area north of Route 72 up to Carpentersville and east of Route 31 to the Fox River.

Residents and businesses in these areas were being advised to prepare for potential outages during these times.
