Renz Center celebrates 50 years

To celebrate 50 years of community service, Renz Addiction Counseling Center will host a special fourth annual Epicurean Delight Fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Spartan Terrace Restaurant, operated by Elgin Community College’s Culinary Arts & Hospitality Department.

Guests will enjoy a four-course gourmet dinner featuring French cuisine from the 1961 era, and hear from Elgin Broadcasting’s Rick Jakle as he introduces honored guests who have a special place in Renz Center’s history.

Tickets to the Epicurean Delight are $80 per person, and all proceeds benefit Renz Addiction Counseling Center programs. Residents also can purchase raffle tickets for an iPad2 or Walt Disney World tickets prior to the event: $10 for one, $45 for five and $80 for 10.
