Arts in Bartlett presents a new exhibit at the Bartlett Village Hall Gallery. The February exhibit is by artist Brittany Pignataro, titled “World of Whimsy.” This exhibit is on display Feb. 2-28 at the Village of Bartlett second-floor Art Gallery, 228 Main St., Bartlett. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Pignataro graduated from the American Academy of Art with a bachelor;s degree in fine art, specializing in illustration. She is working at Color my World art studio teaching children art classes and freelancing.

Pignataro grew up inspired by the bright, fun images she saw in children’s books. After a childhood of coloring and drawing, she is doing what she loves. She creates expressive, playful, and whimsical art for all ages to enjoy. Her goal is to have her viewers peek into different worlds filled with color and movement.

The public is invited to attend a reception to meet the artist from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19. For more information on the exhibit, contact Arts in Bartlett at 630-372-4152 or www.artsinbartlett.org.
