SOUTH ELGIN — Anderson Animal Shelter is asking members of the community to go into their jewelry boxes and donate pieces they no longer want to their sixth annual Jewelry Faire to be held Sept. 7 and 8 at the American Legion in Geneva. All types of jewelry are being accepted — new, old, estate, fine, handmade, costume and watches, as well as damaged and broken gold or silver pieces. Better handbags are also needed.
Donations can be brought to the Shelter at 1000 S. LaFox (Route 31) in South Elgin during regular business hours. Please place in a sealed envelope to the attention of the Jewelry Faire Committee. Questions can be directed to Kathleen Graff at email@example.com 847-382-1945.
Anderson Animal Shelter is a nonprofit shelter that has been serving Kane County since 1966. Donations are tax-deductible under the fullest extent of the law. All proceeds will go toward finding permanent and loving homes for dogs and cats.
