Bartlett Adult Theatre presenting ‘Alice in Wonderland’ at park site

A new production by Arts in Bartlett’s Adult Theatre will be presented at 7 p.m. today and Saturday at the Bartlett Nature Center, James “Pate” Philip State Park, 2054 W. Stearns Road, Bartlett.

“Alice in Wonderland,” a two-act play written by Wheaton College student Morgan Malloy and Paul Danielson, is based on the books “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There” by Lewis Carroll. The 12-member cast includes Malloy, Ricky Lopez, Debbie Fowler, Brianne Durfey, Dean Pearson, Galen Malick, Russ Devereaux, Katie Batt, Jamin Echols, Rita Lopienski, Carl Thomas and Greg Marchuk. The production will also include original poetry by Devereaux.

The price of tickets is $10, and $8 for children 12 and under, and includes dessert refreshments after the play. Tickets can be purchased at the Center for the Arts, 118 W.
