On Thursday, Elgin Community College’s Culinary Instructor Patrick Stewart and Chef Robert Childers from the Art Institute of Chicago carved a four-block ice sculpture of a Chinese dragon for Chinese New Year. The carving was practice for a National Ice Carving Association ice competition in St Joseph, Mich. on Feb 11.
