DuPage County Historical Museum: Once Upon a Time exhibit features late-18th to mid-19th century French clothing, accessories and furniture, to Sept. 3. Elgin Public Museum: Green Scale: Weighing in on the Green Movement exhibit examines the successes, shortcomings, and impact of the green movement on our global village. Joliet Area Historical Museum: The Soaring Achievements of John C. Houbolt, permanent exhibit celebrates the 1969 moon landing and honors the former Joliet resident and key proponent of the lunar orbit rendezvous concept.
