Sounds: Classic rock covers
8:15 to 10 p.m.: The Steve Miller Band
Who: Milwaukee native who cut his chops in his 20s playing blues in Chicago. Later part of the San Francisco scene of the 1960s and mainstay of ’70s rock.
Sounds: Blues, psychedelic, progressive rock.
Know ’em, love ’em: “Take the Money and Run,” “Fly Like an Eagle,” “Jungle Love.”
What’s New: Released “Bingo!” in 2010, primarily covers of blues and R&B hits.
