Ty Pennington to appear at Ribfest

TV personality Ty Pennington will join grilling experts for demonstrations from noon to 6 p.m. June 30 during Ribfest in Naperville.
At the event, Ribfest patrons can experience demonstrations by Sears grilling experts, get a photo with Pennington, have a chance to grill with him or enter to win a grill and other prizes.
“Personally, I love being outdoors,” Pennington said. “Summer is a perfect time for gathering friends and family for a backyard barbecue. I can’t wait to get cookin’ on my Kenmore grill at Ribfest.”
Joining Pennington at the Sears “Grilling is Happiness” tent at Ribfest will be television host and author George Hirsch, “Grill Grrrl” Robyn Lindars and “Burnin’ Love BBQ” chef Perry Perkins, who will all be demonstrating their favorite dishes, including healthy meals, quick fixes, desserts and BBQ classics.
The 25th Ribfest will be held June 29 to July 3 in Knoch Park in Naperville. Ribfest consists of family activities throughout the event, 16 rib vendors from across the country and music.
Tickets for all Ribfest entertainment are available on the Ribfest website at www.ribfest.net and will be date specific. Also, the annual fireworks display will be held on July 3.
