CROWN POINT — Lake County police are investigating the theft of platinum Canadian Maple Leaf coins from a Crown Point home earlier this week.

A $10,000 reward is offered for the return of all 124 stolen coins or information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the thieves, Lake County police spokeswoman Patti VanTil said Tuesday.

Detective Michelle Dvorscak is investigating the case. Anyone with information should call (219) 755-3334.
