Triple crash on 31: Two people were injured and traffic was blocked periodically after a three-car crash on Route 31 at Boncosky Road during Tuesday’s snowstorm. Police Officer Jim Breon said one car slid on slick pavement at about 12:30 p.m., crashed into the rear of a car that had stopped and spun that vehicle into a third one. Breon said two people were taken to a hospital but their injuries appeared to be minor.

Another crash on Big Timber: For the second time in five days, someone was injured in a single-vehicle crash about 3:20 p.m. along Big Timber Road east of Hampshire High School. He said one person was taken to Sherman Hospital with injuries not deemed to be life-threatening. Last Thursday, two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries when a car hit a pole at about 3:20 p.m. at Big Timber and Brier Hill Road.
