SOUTH ELGIN — State Sen. Karen McConnaughay has announced the opening of her new district office, at 81 McLean Blvd. here.

McConnaughay, R-St. Charles, was inaugurated into the 98th General Assembly to represent Illinois 33rd District on Jan. 9. The district includes portions of Kane and McHenry counties.

In addition to the South Elgin and Springfield offices, McConnaughay will be conducting mobile office hours at locations throughout the 33rd District as an added convenience for constituents, according to a press release from her office. Those dates and locations will be announced in coming weeks.

“I am committed to being accessible to all my constituents and keeping them up-to-date on vital issues,” McConnaughay said in the release.

McConnaughay will host an open house in the new district office from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 22.

“The open house will be a great opportunity for citizens from the district to stop by, meet the district staff and discuss their concerns,” McConnaughay said.

McConnaughay’s office can be reached at 847-214-8245. The email address is KarenMcConnaughay33@gmail.com.
