HUNTLEY — The village board has moved along the master plan for the Alden Network’s proposed Regency Square development to the plan commission for review.

The master plan calls for a 13-acre campus at the northwest corner of Regency Parkway and Princeton Drive in the village. The proposed campus will include 76 units of independent living for seniors, a 110-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility and a 50-bed memory care facility.

The plan proposes six buildings totaling 201,600 square feet. The skilled nursing/rehabilitation facility and the independent senior living facility will both be three-story buildings. The other buildings will be single story, according to the plan.

Programs and services will include an Alzheimer’s/dementia care Pathways Program, a long-term care skilled nursing component for individuals with chronic illnesses and disabilities, and an upscale independent senior living component for active seniors aged 55 and over.

Regency Square is projected to create 200 jobs and provide a multi-million dollar construction value, according to staff reports.

The plan commission will begin a formal development review per the board’s decision.

Voted to enter into a land acquisition and settlement agreement in the amount of $275,000 for permanent right-of-way and temporary construction easement to extend Kreutzer Road from Route 47 to West Main Street.
