There’s a new Papa Bear as Jay Cutler welcomed his first child Wednesday morning.
Cutler’s fiancée, Kristin Cavallari, broke the news on her Twitter account.
“We are thrilled to welcome Camden Jack Cutler into the world,” Cavallari wrote. “He was born this morning weighing [seven pounds], [nine ounces]. Everyone is great!”
The Bears play their preseason opener Thursday night against the Denver Broncos at Soldier Field, but Cutler’s status for the game is unknown. He was not available for comment.
Cutler’s father’s name is Jack, so the baby’s middle name seems to be in his honor.
Left tackle J’Marcus Webb did weigh in on Twitter, “Happy Birthday to Jay Cutler’s baby and ME. Now I am obligated to protect the baby too!!!’’
