Elgin man arrested on child porn charges

Wigberto Rivera, 57, of 3000 block of Chalkstone Avenue, Elgin, was charged with six felony counts of aggravated child pornography, accused of possessed a computer image of a child under the age of 13 with unclothed genitalia. The images were dated from September 2011 and that more than 200 images of child pornography were found on Rivera’s computer, police said. Bail was set at $30,000, and he was given a July 18 court date.
