SUV rams Carpentersville home

CARPENTERSVILLE — Police were investigating a Sunday morning accident in which a white Ford Escalade rammed into the side of house in the 1700 block of Kingston Circle.
A neighbor told the Courier-News that accident happened around 10 a.m. Sunday and that police and fire had evacuated the home where the car had been embedded to the front windshield. Police were questioning another neighbor who may have been the driver, the source said. No one in the home appeared to be hurt.
