Police seek Elgin man in Cadillac Ranch shooting

BARTLETT — Bartlett police said Monday that they are looking for an Elgin man, 23-year-old Reginald “Reggie” Myles, as a suspect in a shooting that occurred early Sunday outside the Cadillac Ranch nightclub at 1175 Lake St.
Police Sgt. Geoffrey Pretkelis described Myles as black, 6 feet tall, weighing 165 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
Police said they were called to the club about 3 a.m.. They found a man with a gunshot wound to the back of his head, plus another head injury apparently sustained when he fell to the ground.
Paramedics from the Bartlett Fire Protection District treated the victim at the scene. Flight for Life airlifted him by helicopter to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where Pretkelis said the man was listed in stable condition on Monday.
Police did not release the identity of the victim other than to say he is in his 20s.
According to reports, witnesses told police the victim had been arguing with someone in the foyer of the Cadillac Ranch at the time of the shooting.
